PORTRAIT
Metagraphe Translations is the business and legal entity of Patrice Da Lage.
Literary and technical translator, writer and independent journalist, Patrice Da Lage has spent more than thirty years studying languages, translating, and writing.
After undertaking studies in the Arts, Patrice Da Lage left his home country at a very young age, hungry for discovery and adventure. His natural talent for acculturation meant that he easily slotted into the cultures of the countries in which he travelled, and quickly perfected his knowledge of foreign languages.
Patrice Da Lage studied at the University of Stockholm, where he lived for five years, and where he was awarded a diploma in Swedish proficiency. After a year spent learning Spanish at Santander and Madrid Universities, he trained as a translator in Canada, at Toronto University, where he obtained a Certificate in Translation.
LITERARY TRANSLATOR
